“One of the 10 best rosé in the world”
Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 90%, Merlot 10%
Annual production: 15 000 bottles
WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE … IT’S TERROIR :
The Bergerac Rosé is mainly made of early harvested cabernet sauvignon and a hint of merlot to ensure crispness. After a short maceration, the grapes are cold pressed which gives the wine this beautiful pale pink colour.
Fermentation is done at low temperature in thermoregulated vats.
Bottle filling is done shortly after to keep the wine all its fruity flavour.
The Bergerac rosé from Pique-Sègue has the characteristics of an exceptional rosé wine: subtle flavours, vineyard peach, redcurrants, fresh and elegant palate.
SUGGESTION FOR ACCOMPANIMENT :
Serve chilled but not ice-cold to maintain flavour.
Perfect as an appetizer, throughout the year or during hot weather.
Light or exotic meals are probably the Château Pique-Sègue rosé’s best association.
Let your imagination be taken away by summer colours and subtle flavours.
ALONG WITH :
