The terroir fruits

BERGERAC

Red wine

Grape variety : Merlot 80 %, Cabernet Sauvignon 20 %
Annual production: 120 000 bottles

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE … IT’S TERROIR :

From Saint-Emilion to Port Sainte-Foy, Merlot is planted into a clay limestone soil where it can fully express its fineness and reign over the hills of Libournais.
When optimum ripeness has been observed for each parcel, grape harvest can begin. Fermentation starts in thermo-regulated vats and is constantly closely followed by our cellar master and our consultant oenologist who will bring pure oxygen over the must whenever it’s needed.

TASTING :

Red and black fruit aromas:
cherry, blackcurrant, redcurrant, blackberries, a silky texture for a fresh and light wine.
